Emily has been a practicing certified massage therapist since 2003, specializing in Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Thai Massage. Her treatments include an integration of Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Breema and Reiki, as well as herbal and sound healing. She is also a flower essence practitioner and creates custom formulas suitable for emotional support during life’s varied challenges, transitions and evolutions. She has studied and practiced traditional bodywork in northern Thailand, where hands-on healing is an integral aspect of daily life. She collaborates with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other body-mind therapists, and has been both yoga instructor and massage therapist to collegiate-level and Junior National Team athletes. Informed by age-old traditions of movement and holistic healing worldwide and the belief that our individual health and happiness is our birthright, Emily works with bodywork clients and yoga students to facilitate the release of obscurations of the physical body, allowing energy to flow naturally throughout the entire system. Her treatments and classes are intuitive, holistic, flowing and thorough explorations of body, mind and spirit. Her clients appreciate her grounded presence, consistently effective pain-relief technique and faith in the unique process of each individual. She deeply adores each of her teachers, students and clients, and is honored to practice at Blossom Healing Center, among so many other fine practitioners. Lori Gatmaitan
Lori Gatmaitan is a Reiki Master practitioner with twelve years of experience helping people to feel more relaxed, experience relief from pain, and connect more deeply to their bodies. Along with Reiki, she incorporates knowledge from Acupressure, Swedish massage, CranioSacral Therapy, and psychology.
Drawing on these modalities, Lori creates therapeutic treatment tailored to the individual client and the needs of the body at the time of the session. The emphasis is to provide a deeper level of relaxation so the body’s wisdom will facilitate it’s own healing process.
Lori intuitively finds the interconnected stress areas of the body and releases them to provide more integration and mobility to her clients. The blending of different techniques create an environment to listen to the way each individual’s body releases tension. Lori has many longstanding clients who report finding that successive sessions achieve cumulative positive results as the body heals itself.
Due to necessary familial dietary modifications, Lori is highly sensitive to the value of functional nutrition. Nutrition is an important component to feeling healthy. Lori supports her client’s work in their finding the best way to eat nutritionally for their own particular circumstances.
"It is with wonder and honor in my heart that I witness and support each person’s journey of healing toward wholeness."
